April 2026 Highlights
April was the month filled with learning, creativity, celebration, and meaningful experiences at Hillwoods Academy Primary School, Noida. Our young learners enthusiastically participated in a variety of activities that encouraged curiosity, compassion, cultural awareness, and environmental responsibility.
We began the month by celebrating Easter Day, where students learned about the values of hope, kindness, and new beginnings through engaging classroom activities and joyful celebrations. The spirit of togetherness continued with Baisakhi, as children explored the rich cultural heritage of Punjab through stories, music, and festive activities.
The school campus came alive during Art Week, providing students with opportunities to express their imagination and creativity through drawing, painting, craftwork, and collaborative art projects. Their artistic talents and innovative ideas were truly inspiring.
To mark World Heritage Day, students discovered the importance of preserving historical monuments and cultural traditions. Through interactive discussions and activities, they developed a deeper appreciation for the world’s diverse heritage.
Our learners also celebrated Earth Day, reinforcing the significance of protecting our planet. Various eco-friendly activities encouraged students to adopt sustainable habits and become responsible environmental stewards.
A special tribute was paid on World Helpers’ Day, where children expressed gratitude towards community helpers whose dedication makes our daily lives safer and easier. Their efforts were acknowledged through thoughtful presentations and appreciation activities.
The joy of reading was celebrated on World Book Day, inspiring students to explore the wonderful world of books and storytelling. The day fostered a love for reading and encouraged imagination, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Adding a special touch to this edition is our theme, “Happy Hearts, Curious Minds,” which perfectly reflects the spirit of our students. Through every activity and celebration, our children demonstrated enthusiasm, kindness, creativity, and a passion for discovering new things.
As we look back on the memorable moments of April, we are proud of our students’ achievements and participation. We look forward to many more exciting learning experiences in the months ahead.
