Joyful Janmashtami Celebrations at Hillwoods Academy, Noida – A Day of Divine Festivity

Krishna Janmashtami, a festival that commemorates the birth of Bal Krishna, one of the most revered reincarnations of Lord Vishnu, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Hillwoods Academy, Noida, on 23rd August 2024. The school buzzed with excitement as students arrived beautifully dressed as Krishna and Radha, donning colorful bangles, odhni, and peacock mukuts, which added to the festive spirit.

    • • A splendid jhulla with an idol of Shri Krishna was placed in the lobby, where students offered prayers and swung Bal Krishna.

    • • The U.KG students depicted Bal Krishna as the makkhan chor, dancing to “Gokuldham, Brij ka waasi!”
    • • The school choir sang “Achutham Keshavam” with utmost devotion.

    • • Teachers narrated stories from Shri Krishna’s childhood, filling the hall with laughter and joy.

• • Dahi Handi Game:
    • • The students played the ancient Dahi Handi game, attempting to reach and break the matki filled with sweets, sharing the treats with everyone.
