Students from Nursery to Grade 4 at H.A.P.S , Noida embarked an exciting field trip to the local post office. This enriching experience provided our young learners with a firsthand look at how postal mails are processed and delivered.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the Head Postmaster. He provided a fascinating overview of the post office’s functions, explaining the various services offered such as letter and parcel delivery, money orders and much more.
A highlight of the visit was the opportunity for each student to post a personalised handwritten postcard to Director Madam and Director Sir under the supervision of the postmaster. With eager hands and colourful pens, they crafted heartfelt wishes of Christmas and New Year on the postcards.
This visit proved to be an invaluable learning experience. Our young learners gained a deeper understanding of the postal system, its importance in our daily lives and the dedication of the postal workers. The hands-on experience of writing and posting postcards fostered valuable skills such as communication, creativity and responsibility.
This educational excursion was a memorable experience for our students.
