A Week Full of Happiness and Fun

Recap of H.A.P.S Summer Camp 2025

What a week it’s been at Hillwoods Academy, Noida! The H.A.P.S. Summer Camp 2025 wrapped up with bright smiles, joyful laughter, and memories that will linger long after the final goodbye. Over seven vibrant days, our young campers explored, created, played, learned, and most importantly, grew.

Here’s a heartwarming look back at all the magic that unfolded!

  • Day 1: A Joyful Takeoff with Balloons and Books

The camp kicked off with cheerful energy as children jumped into a mix of yoga, aerobics, and the joy of art & craft. From inhaling deeply during the yoga session to crafting vibrant hot air balloons, the day seamlessly combined movement and creativity.

The storytelling session featuring The Grotlyn by Benji Davies left little minds buzzing with curiosity, and the joyful dance to “Up, Up, Up!” with their balloon creations had everyone floating on excitement.

Takeaway: Imagination can truly lift you off the ground!

  • Day 2: Whistles, Whisks & Warrior Queens

From football dribbling drills to making fruit salad and lemonade without fire, Day 2 was all about skill and independence.

But the star of the day? The highlight of the day was our speech and drama session. Starting with familiar Disney princesses and transitioning to the fierce Rani Lakshmi Bai, children learned that true royalty lies in courage, kindness, and strength.

We reminded each child:
“You are a princess. Not because of a crown, but because of the values you carry.”

Special moment: Hearing little voices proudly say, “I am Rani Lakshmi Bai!”

  • Day 3: Penning Possibilities with Dr. Eshan Parikh

Our budding storytellers had a magical encounter with Dr. Eshan Parikh, PhD and Assistant Professor at Amity School of Film and Drama. His workshop on creative writing opened up entire worlds, built on location, character, drama, and imagination.

Children shared their story ideas, showing that even the youngest minds are capable of powerful storytelling.

Quote of the day: “The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller.” – Steve Jobs

  • Day 4: Movement, Motivation, and Sheroes

Back to the mat and the movement floor! Yoga and Aerobics got everyone moving, while handwriting and tracing helped channel focus and fine motor skills.

In Speech & Drama, children met real female heroes, like Hedy Lamarr and Rani Lakshmi Bai. They not only listened but also put themselves in their shoes and spoke like them.

Learning in action: “Who do you want to become?” One child answered, “Brave… like Lakshmi Bai.”

  • Day 5: Under the Sea Adventures

Day 5 took a deep dive into the ocean! We dribbled footballs in the morning, then plunged into storytelling with Where Did Brudo Go?, an emotional underwater tale.

Children explored marine life through an engaging presentation and made adorable dolphin crafts. The day closed with a giggly “Baby Shark” dance party!

Big splash: Learning how to care for the oceans and loving every finned friend.

  • Day 6: Duck Prints, Dance Moves & Deep Thoughts

This day was a beautiful mix of movement and meaning. After warming up with yoga, “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” and “Move Your Body” dance moves, children paused for a powerful reflection activity.

They drew and wrote about their camp journey, what they loved, what they learned, and their hopes for next time.

Favorite artwork: Duck handprints and shape art in every color imaginable!

  • Day 7: Goals, Games & Goodbyes

The final day was both energetic and emotional. Football goal-shooting started us off with cheers, and phonics puzzles kept minds buzzing.

And then came the moment of pride, certificate distribution. Every child beamed as they were recognized for their creativity, enthusiasm, and growth.

Tears + Triumph: Some didn’t want to leave. Some couldn’t stop smiling. All left a little taller inside.

A Summer to Remember… and Repeat!

Over seven wonderful days, our smart campers explored the world and themselves through stories, sports, science, drama, dance, and reflection. They made new friends, tried new things, and discovered hidden talents.

At H.A.P.S. Summer Camp 2025, we didn’t just teach kids to write or dance or dribble—we helped them believe in themselves.

Thank you to every parent, child, teacher, and guest who made this week unforgettable.

Here’s to imagination, courage, and curiosity.
Here’s to childhood in full bloom.

Until next summer… Keep dreaming, keep exploring, and keep being YOU.

Let’s continue to IGNITEthe Joy of Learning, one spark, one smile, one story at a time.
