H.A.P.S. Celebrates a Vibrant and Joyful Holi!

H.A.P.S. buzzed with festive energy on 12th March’25 , as students and teachers came togetherto celebrate the vibrant festival of Holi with a special assembly. The school transformed into akaleidoscope of colours as students arrived dressed in their most colourful attire, ready toimmerse themselves in the spirit of the festival.The assembly commenced with insightful presentations from Avni Malik and Rudra Yadav ofGrade IV, who shared fascinating facts and thought-provoking insights about the significance ofHoli. Shivika Sachan of Grade III then graced the stage with a beautiful Hindi poem, capturingthe essence and joy of Holi through her expressive recitation..The stage then came alive with the vibrant dance performance by students of Grades I to IV.Their energetic moves and colourful costumes, set to the melodious tune of “Khel Rahe HoliBiraj k…”, filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm.Then our UKG students charmed everyone with their adorable recitation of the poem “Dum DumDum Holi has come…”, followed by a delightful dance performance by the LKG students on thelively song “Holi hai Aayi…”. Their innocent joy and vibrant energy were truly heartwarming.Ms. Neha then took the stage to narrate the captivating story of Holi, emphasizing theimportance of celebrating the festival with safety and responsibility. She provided valuableguidelines for ensuring a safe and enjoyable Holi for all.Our esteemed Headmistress ma’am further enriched the celebration by sharing insightful factsabout Holi and reiterating the importance of playing the festival safely and responsibly. Herwords resonated with the students, reinforcing the message of celebrating the festival with careand consideration.The culmination of the joyous celebration saw all students participating in a delightful flowerHoli, filling the air with fragrant petals and laughter. The school grounds echoed with the soundsof merriment and the vibrant colours of the flowers, creating a truly unforgettable experience.H.A.P.S.’s Holi celebration was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and joyamong students and teachers alike. Annual Sports Day At Hillwoods Academy ,Noida

Spring Sprint Soar! A Day of Athletic Excellence and Joy at H.A.P.SH.A.P.S resonated with the vibrant energy of youth and the spirit of sportsmanshipon its annual Sports Day, themed “Spring Sprint Soar!” The event held on 16 thFebruary’25 , was a resounding success, filled with thrilling races, captivating drills,and heartwarming moments of camaraderie.The day commenced with the enthusiastic welcome of our esteemed Chief Guest,Ms. Yogita Sharma, an ex member of the national medalist team in gymnastics. Sheis an internationally certified teacher from NCCP Canada and presently she is a partof physical education department in American Embassy School and also runs herown gymnastics academy in Delhi.The students of Grades I to IV presented a disciplined march past, setting the stagefor a day filled with athletic prowess.The school flag was hoisted by our respected Chief Guest, Ms. Yogita Sharma andour esteemed Director Sir- Dr. Aditya Dixit, symbolizing the commencement of thesporting events. Following this, our chief guest officially declared the Sports Meetopen, igniting the competitive spirit among the students.The Oath Taking Ceremony, led by our Sports Captain, Ivaan Sahani of Grade III,and Headmistress Ma’am, reaffirmed the students’ commitment to fair play andsportsmanship. Headmistress Ma’am then shared the comprehensive and engrossingannual report, highlighting the achievements and progress made in the year.As a gesture of gratitude, Director Sir and Headmistress Ma’am presented a mementoto the Chief Guest. Headmistress Ma’am also presented a book to Director Sir,symbolizing the importance of knowledge and guidance.The audience was then treated to a mesmerizing drill performance by the students ofGrades Nursery to IV. The Nursery and LKG charmed everyone with vibrantpompom drill, UKG displayed energetic football drill and Grades I to IV dazzled withhula hoop mastery, all demonstrating impressive teamwork and vibrant presentation.Their synchronized movements and vibrant costumes captivated everyone,showcasing their dedication and teamwork.The heart of the event, the athletic competitions, began with a series of exciting racesfor students of Grades Nursery to IV. These included the challenging Mountain Race,the fun-filled Get Ready for School Race, Bursting the Balloon Race and the thrillingObstacles Race. The students displayed remarkable agility, speed and determination,earning cheers and applause from the audience.Under the expert guidance of Mr. Rahul, a national archery player and coach fromthe Noida Archery Centre, our students Aasmilan Kaur and Ishanvi Kotnala ofGrade II, Shivika Sachan and Prateek Swain of Grade III and Rudra Yadav andAbhi Yadav of Grade IV demonstrated their archery skills in a special session. Adding a touch of warmth and inclusivity, a special race was organized for parentsand grandparents. This friendly competition witnessed enthusiastic participation,fostering a sense of community and shared joy.The much-awaited result declaration followed, where the winners were felicitatedwith certificates and medals by the Chief Guest, Director Sir and HeadmistressMa’am. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as the young athletesreceived their well-deserved accolades. House Mistress,Ms. Neha and House Captain, Rudra Yadav of Grade IV, proudly received the trophy,marking a moment of triumph for their house.Chief Guest, Ms. Yogita Sharma, shared her inspiring words, praising the students’efforts and emphasizing the importance of sports in building character and resilience.The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms. Ayushi, expressinggratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The day ended with theentire gathering standing in unison to sing the National Anthem, a fitting finale to aday of sportsmanship.“Spring Sprint Soar!” was a testament to the school’s commitment to holisticdevelopment, fostering a spirit of healthy competition, teamwork and sportsmanshipamong its students. The event left a lasting impression, creating cherished memoriesfor everyone involved.

Excursion to Ved Van Park

On 6th February 2025, the students of Hillwoods Academy Primary School visited Ved Van Park in Noida as part of an educational excursion.The objective of the visit was to learn about the Vedic principles and practices that the park promotes, which emphasize sustainability, spiritual growth, and environmental awareness.The park serves as a hub for cultural, educational, and eco-friendly activities, offering a unique blend of ancient traditions and modern eco-conscious practices.This visit not only expanded our knowledge of Vedic culture but also inspired us to consider how we can incorporate mindfulness, sustainability, and a deeper respect for heritage in our own lives.

Grand Alignment Of The Planets.

The special assembly on “The Planet Parade”was an enriching experience for the students, providing them with valuable insights into our solar system . Headmistress ma’am told students about the amazing event taking place in the universe- Special alignment  and the unique characteristics of the six planets align for the parade i.e Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, Uranus,Mars. A fun quiz was also conducted in which students participated enthusiastically. Abhi , Avni from grade 4th and Prateek, Aaradhya, Shivika  from grade 3rd were the active participants .The students learned extensively about the planets under the guidance of our Headmistress Ma’am, gaining valuable knowledge and insights through interactive sessions and engaging activities.

Celebrating India’s 76th Republic Day At Hillwoods Academy,Noida

The spirit of patriotism and national pride filled the air as our school celebrated Republic Day in a special assembly on 24th January 2025. The event highlighted the importance of the day and paid tribute to the great leaders who shaped our nation.The assembly began with an inspiring Thought of the Day by Rudra from Grade IV, followed by Amazing Facts about India presented by Aradhya from Grade III, which left everyone fascinated by our country’s rich heritage and achievements. Adding to the patriotic fervor, Shivika from Grade III beautifully recited a poem dedicated to the love and pride for our nation. The highlight of the event was an insightful address by Ms. Brajesh Ma’am, who not only explained the significance of Republic Day but also narrated the struggles of our freedom fighters and the reason why 26th January was chosen as the day to adopt the Indian Constitution. The celebration concluded on a melodious note with a soulful performance of the patriotic song “Hum Sab Bhartiya Hain” by the senior students, under the guidance of Ms. Soma Ma’am. Their energetic and heartfelt rendition filled the audience with pride and enthusiasm. To make the celebration more engaging, the junior students participated in a Paper Kite Activity, symbolizing freedom and unity, while learning about the significance of Republic Day in a fun and creative way. The event was a true tribute to the values of democracy, unity, and freedom, leaving everyone inspired to contribute towards the nation’s progress.

 Lohri and Makar Sankranti At School

H.A.P.S , Noida recently celebrated the joyous festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti with great enthusiasm. For Lohri, the school organized a bonfire where students symbolically burned their one unwanted habit by writing it on a piece of paper and tossing it into the flames. The festive atmosphere was further enhanced with the enjoyment of popcorn, peanuts and revri. Makar Sankranti celebrations included a special assembly where Ms. Brijesh eloquently shared the significance of this harvest festival andstudents of Grade- I shared fascinating facts related to Makar Sankranti. To culminate the celebrations, all students eagerly participated in athrilling kite-flying activity within the school premises. These events provided a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about Indian cultural traditions while fostering a sense of community and joy within the school.

A Visit To The Post Office

Students from Nursery to Grade 4 at H.A.P.S , Noida  embarked  an exciting field trip to the local post office. This enriching experience provided our young learners with a firsthand look at how postal mails are processed and delivered. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the Head Postmaster. He provided a fascinating overview of the post office’s functions, explaining the various services offered such as letter and parcel delivery, money orders and much more. A highlight of the visit was the opportunity for each student to post a personalised handwritten postcard to Director Madam and Director Sir under the supervision of the postmaster. With eager hands and colourful pens, they crafted heartfelt wishes of Christmas and New Year on the postcards.  This visit proved to be an invaluable learning experience. Our young learners gained a deeper understanding of the postal system, its importance in our daily lives and the dedication of the postal workers. The hands-on experience of writing and posting postcards fostered valuable skills such as communication, creativity and responsibility. This educational excursion was a memorable experience for our students.

Christmas Celebration at Hillwoods Academy

Hillwoods Academy Celebrates a Joyful Christmas ! Hillwoods Academy recently celebrated the spirit of Christmas with a vibrant carnival on 21st December’24 . The event was a resounding success, filled with festive cheer and joyful participation from students, parents and faculty. The carnival was a kaleidoscope of exciting games and activities. Everyone enjoyed classic games like Tambola, Hit the Target,  Ring the Object, Stack the Balloons etc. The aroma of delicious treats wafted through the air as students and parents indulged in the diverse offerings at the various food stalls. The festive spirit was further amplified by melodious Christmas carols sung by the students, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. The stage buzzed with excitement as students showcased their talents in a variety of performances, showcasing their creativity and confidence. On 24th December’24 , a special assembly was held to commemorate the true essence of Christmas. Students shared insightful thoughts and fascinating facts about the joyous day, while Ms. Ayushi eloquently explained the significance and importance of Christmas, concluding her address with a beautiful recitation of a Christmas poem. The assembly concluded with students watching a reading of the classic poem, ‘A Visit from St. Nicholas’ (also known as ‘The Night Before Christmas’) by Clement Clarke Moore and by singing and dancing on Christmas carols. The Christmas celebration at Hillwoods Academy was a memorable occasion that fostered a sense of community and instilled the spirit of joy and togetherness among the entire school family.

Children’s Day Celebrations at Hillwoods Academy!

“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together they make this world a beautiful garden.” H.A.P.S , Noida celebrated Children’s Day with a delightful assembly prepared by the teachers. They emphasized the day’s significance and shared interesting facts about Prime Minister – Jawaharlal Nehru, who is also fondly called Chacha Nehru. Ms. Brajesh recited a captivating poem encouraging students to cherish their childhood days and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. The event showcased the students’ talents through solo and group dance performances. Divisha Popli, Demira Popli, Ishanvi Kotnala of UKG ; Myra Sagar, Adhiraj Yadav,  Amaira Moral of LKG and our marvellous Shake it up! Club incharge Aasmilan Kuar of Grade II captivated the audience with their solo dance performances. All students enthusiastically participated in the group dance led by Ms. Bhavna, dancing to the lively tunes of “Bum Bum Bole.” They also gave group dance performances on the songs, Baby shark and Brazil! To make the day even more special, students enjoyed a children’s movie and received colourful paper windmills from the school’s Headmistress and Dr. Meenu Aggarwal, the school counselor. Both of them addressed the students during the special assembly and encouraged them to do everything with love and cheer. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. A message from Director sir was read out to the students of Grades I to IV by HM ma’am. It was an inspiring message asking the students to bring about the change which they wanted to see in their surroundings, thus making them the changemakers of tomorrow. It also requested the students to take care of the trees and the plants of the campus and to remember to switch off the lights while leaving their classrooms.
