The spirit of patriotism and national pride filled the air as our school celebrated Republic Day in a special assembly on 24th January 2025. The event highlighted the importance of the day and paid tribute to the great leaders who shaped our nation.
The assembly began with an inspiring Thought of the Day by Rudra from Grade IV, followed by Amazing Facts about India presented by Aradhya from Grade III, which left everyone fascinated by our country’s rich heritage and achievements.
Adding to the patriotic fervor, Shivika from Grade III beautifully recited a poem dedicated to the love and pride for our nation. The highlight of the event was an insightful address by Ms. Brajesh Ma’am, who not only explained the significance of Republic Day but also narrated the struggles of our freedom fighters and the reason why 26th January was chosen as the day to adopt the Indian Constitution.
The celebration concluded on a melodious note with a soulful performance of the patriotic song “Hum Sab Bhartiya Hain” by the senior students, under the guidance of Ms. Soma Ma’am. Their energetic and heartfelt rendition filled the audience with pride and enthusiasm.
To make the celebration more engaging, the junior students participated in a Paper Kite Activity, symbolizing freedom and unity, while learning about the significance of Republic Day in a fun and creative way.
The event was a true tribute to the values of democracy, unity, and freedom, leaving everyone inspired to contribute towards the nation’s progress.
