In a special assembly to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, students at Hillwoods Academy, Noida, celebrated the life and legacy of the iconic Indian leader, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. The third-grade students shared insightful thoughts and fascinating facts about Mahatma Gandhi, while Shivika Sachan of Grade 3 captivated the audience by reciting a heartfelt poem titled “Mahatma Gandhi.”
Ms. Brajesh provided valuable insights into the principles of Gandhiji and also highlighted the significance of Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birthday, which is celebrated on the same day. Rudra Yadav of Grade 4, dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, shared fascinating details about his life and journey.
Under the guidance of Ms. Soma, the music teacher, the school choir performed a rousing rendition of the patriotic song “De Di Hume Azadi.” The assembly concluded with a melodious performance of “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” by the school’s young leaders.
