Play-Based Assessment: Central to the HKYC programme is our proprietary play-based analysis, which categorises children according to their learning styles. This engaging and interactive assessment allows us to gain insights into each student’s preferred way of learning, whether it be visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile, or reading and writing.
Visual Learners
For students who learn best through visual stimuli, we leverage our VR-enabled classrooms and smart boards to create immersive learning experiences. The Apple for Education programme, with Mac computers, provides access to visually rich content and educational apps, enhancing comprehension and retention.
Auditory Learners

Kinaesthetic and Tactile Learners
We understand the importance of hands-on experiences, and we incorporate physical activities, experiments, and interactive simulations into our curriculum. Our classrooms use pop-up and touch and feel books, as well as sensory kits to make learning more engaging. The all-weather indoor basement sports zone offers ample opportunities for kinesthetic learners to learn through movement and teamwork throughout the year.
