Hillwoods Academy Primary School, Noida, proudly hosted its Orientation Program & Graduation Ceremony on March 29, 2025, marking the beginning of the academic session 2025-2026. The event served as a warm and meaningful platform to welcome parents and students while outlining the school’s educational vision and upcoming initiatives for the year ahead.
The program commenced with a melodious welcome song, beautifully presented by our talented students. Their performance created an inviting and cheerful ambience, setting the tone for an engaging and inspiring session.
Following this heartwarming opening, our esteemed director, Dr. Aditya Dixit, addressed the gathering with his visionary insights. In his keynote address, he introduced the innovative teaching methodologies that the school will be adopting in the new academic year. Dr. Dixit emphasized the school’s commitment to holistic education by integrating experiential learning practices, digital learning tools, and interactive classroom strategies to foster deeper understanding and greater student engagement.
A key highlight of the orientation was the announcement of the inclusion of two exciting sports disciplines—gymnastics and rock climbing—into the school’s sports curriculum. These additions reflect the school’s emphasis on promoting physical fitness, agility, and resilience among students, while also nurturing qualities such as discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. Dr. Dixit further shared plans to integrate movement-based learning through dance and unveiled the school’s vision to establish a dedicated dance studio in the coming years — a step that aligns with fostering creativity and physical expression among students.
A particularly heart-touching moment of the event was when Dr. Dixit felicitated the students of UKG as they transition into formal schooling by stepping into Grade I. This symbolic gesture not only celebrated their growth but also motivated them as they embark on their next academic journey.
The Headmistress, Ms. Harshita, extended a heartfelt welcome to all parents and students, reiterating the significance of a strong partnership between the school and families. She passionately spoke about the enriching journey ahead and the shared responsibility in nurturing young learners. A notable moment during her address was the launch of the school’s new digital sports magazine—“Spring, Sprint, and Soar.” The magazine aims to celebrate students’ sporting achievements, provide updates on forthcoming events, and inspire a culture of healthy competition, resilience, and excellence within the school community.
To support parents in their parenting journey, the school’s counselor, Dr. Meenu Aggarwal, conducted an enriching workshop on parenting styles. Her session offered valuable insights into contemporary parenting approaches, focusing on the importance of positive reinforcement, effective communication, and fostering emotional intelligence in children. Parents left the session equipped with practical strategies to build stronger, more empathetic relationships with their children.
The orientation program concluded with an interactive Q&A session, wherein parents actively engaged with the school leadership, sharing their queries, suggestions, and appreciation. The school management expressed heartfelt gratitude for their enthusiastic participation and reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing every child’s potential within a caring and stimulating learning environment.
The event successfully set a positive and collaborative tone for the upcoming academic session, fostering a shared vision between educators and parents in shaping confident, well-rounded, and future-ready learners.
